The team at The Gigliotti Center for the Performing Arts and Well-Being combines real-world performing arts experience with research-based voice care to guide young artists toward sustainable, informed careers in the performing arts.

Rita Gigliotti

Rita is a music educator with over 20 years of experience guiding young performing artists through both artistic development and the demands of the performing arts world. As the founder of Melodia Studio and an instructor in Music for Well-Being, Rita combines rigorous vocal training with a holistic, health-centered approach that supports students’ confidence, resilience, and long-term goals as performing artists.

Jake Odmark

Jake is a working Broadway actor with more than 10 years of experience on stage. With deep musical roots and formal education in music from James Madison University, Jake brings real-world insight into auditions, rehearsal culture, and the professional expectations students will encounter as they grow. Currently, Jake offers in-person and virtual weekly lessons and workshops.

Tori Carboni

Tori is a professional choreographer who supports students primarily with dance cuts and audition reels, creating customized choreography that highlights each dancer’s strengths and individuality. She also teaches dance technique and audition preparation, helping students move with confidence and make clear, effective choices in audition settings.

Andrew Goldstein

Andrew is a performer, voice teacher and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Andrew has performed in Italy and most recently at the Kennedy Center, bringing both clinical insight and real-world performance experience to his work with young performing artists. His expertise allows him to identify inefficient vocal habits early, helping students develop safe, sustainable technique as their voices grow.

Burke Hutchinson

Burke Hutchinson supports students primarily with portfolio preparation and headshot selection for auditions, programs, and schools, helping families make clear, strategic choices that align with casting expectations. Burke also teaches acting through song, coaching students to make confident, grounded performance choices in auditions and class work.

Rebecca Wahls

Rebecca is a professional director, writer, and producer with extensive experience in theatre, film, and youth arts education. She works with students on acting and dramatic writing, helping them build strong, thoughtful performances and prepare for competitive programs and auditions.

David Rowen

David Rowen is a Helen Hayes Award-nominated actor and musician based in NYC. He has extensive experience in the performing arts, and was in the original Broadway cast of Swept Away. David is a classically trained and versatile singer and multi-instrumentalist. He currently offers 1:1 voice coaching for young performing artists.
