Rita is absolutely amazing. She has helped me get into 4/4 of the colleges I have auditioned for and really helped me get out of my shell. Without Rita I still wouldn’t be able to perform on stage.

Yes, but with important context. Workshops are a required and essential component of both the Standard Membership and the Pre-Professional Track. The Pre-Professional Track includes exclusive access to guest artists and professional development events that are not included with standard membership. Pre-Professional students receive: Guaranteed placement VIP experiences (1:1 meets, bonus sessions, small-group access, Pre-Professional masterclasses only) Early bird and discounted pricing Some workshops may still carry a fee to support guest artist honorariums and studio resources. However, these costs are greatly reduced and clearly communicated in advance.

  • Did you get rid of legacy pricing?
Yes. The Melodia Studio membership structure reflects a full shift from legacy and à la carte services to holistic training designed to support students at every level. There are 2 reasons for this: 1) In past years, families would often pay hundreds in extra lessons, recording sessions, or resources. Now there’s structured flow, thoughtfully curated to build momentum, consistency, and student success. 2) As I near completion of my PhD in Music Education, I am committed to applying what I've experienced first-hand as both a music educator and an academic researcher: Success in the performing arts requires highly intensive and consistent output, and both students and teachers benefit from education that prioritizes well-being.
  • Are audition recording sessions included in the Pre-Professional track?
Yes. Audition self-tapes for college, scholarship, and theatrical auditions are fully included. Previously, families were charged an additional $85–$150 per session. Most students needed 3–4 of these annually. These costs are now built into the membership at no extra charge.
  • Is the tuition based on a 9-month or 12-month calendar?
Both membership tiers have tuition based on a 12-month model. Students are expected to study year-round, with scheduling flexibility in the summer months to accommodate travel, intensives, or rest. This ensures continuity of training and holds their place in the studio.
